If you’ve been told you won a prize and are looking for assistance, please first read all of the questions and answers below.

Who is The National Sweepstakes Company?

We never ask anyone to pay us money to receive a prize. The National Sweepstakes Company is a promotion administration company.  We do not Sponsor sweepstakes or contests.  We work directly with companies and assist them in running lawful sweepstakes, contests, games and rebates by offering various administration services.  We do not manage consumer complaints for other businesses.

Do NOT pay any money to receive a prize.

Sweepstakes winners are NOT required to pay any money before receiving their prize. If you have been called or have been mailed notification that you have won a sweepstakes or other type of promotion and need to send money before receiving your prize you are most likely being scammed.

Please contact your State Attorney General or the Federal Trade Commission.  We do not respond to inquiries for promotions we have not administered.

Our company will NEVER ask you to pay money to receive a prize.

Over the past few years, NSC has advised consumers not to fall prey to these frauds. Unfortunately, these individuals are now using our name and logo in order to appear legitimate.  These sweepstakes are NOT legitimate and are in no way associated with NSC.

If you have won a prize over $600 for a promotion we have administered, you will receive an Affidavit of Eligibility and IRS paperwork.  If you have not received this paperwork from us, and you have not received a notification directly from our organization, please contact your State Attorney General or the Federal Trade Commission.  We do not respond to inquiries for promotions we have not administered.

If you have been notified that you have won a sweepstakes or other type of promotion and are asked for money please contact your State Attorney General, or you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
